Neuromodulator: Botox, Xeomin
A neuromodulator is a toxin type A injectable that aims to soften the skin and reduce wrinkles, creases, and any severe signs of aging. Botox is minimally invasive and will not require surgery.
In simple words, botox works as a muscle relaxant. Once injected into the skin, neuromodulators target the facial muscles and restrict them from contracting. Once the muscles stop contracting, they stop pulling on the skin.
Although results vary depending on the health, age, and organism of the patient, typically, results of our neuromodulator injections can last between 3-4 months!
A week before the procedure, avoid drinking alcohol, especially wine. Stay away from any anti-inflammatory medications to avoid thinning your blood. Eat a healthy and balanced diet, but avoid garlic.
I love it! I’ve been getting botox for the last couple of years and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. The staff at Aveline are so welcoming and accommodating, that’s why I keep coming back to them in particular. They keep me looking young and fresh.
